Here you will find some of the horses we found new friends for...We tend to get attached to them before they go and it's always hard to say goodbye. It makes it much easier when we know they are going to a good home and will be loved and cared for.
This little guy is Flash. When he came here he was terribly under weight, but a great little horse. We worked with him and got enough weight on him that he could be ridden and ride we did. This boy took us anywhere we wanted to go. He was sold to a 12 year old girl as a first horse and I have heard they are doing great together. He is just 4 years old and already riding the trails like a pro. He is veryhapy with his new mom and I wish them both continued happiness together. |

This is me and Raven
Raven is a 15 yr. old TWH. He would go where ever you point his head, bareback with a lead line a halter. He was great. I bought him for me since Jethro was so tall, I thought that I would be better suited for a shorter horse. I also thought that my husband would let me keep them both....ooops....that didn't happen. I could not let go of my Jethro so Raven had to go. He was sold to a 14 yr. old girl that absolutley spoils him rotten. He has given him a wonderful new home and lots of attention and rides. I was very glad that Raven went to her. Miss you boy. |

John Wayne with Tori, his new owner. I have seen John Wayne and keep in contact with Tori and her mom. John Wayne is being spoiled rotten, getting horsey massages. When I die, I want to come back as Tori's horse. He is right where he needs to be. Tori and JW have a very special bond between horse and rider. She is showing in barrels and her first one is coming up, yep! I'm gonna be there to cheer them both on. I/m proud of you both!
Don't these two make a nice couple. They will be barrel racing together next season and we wish them lots of success and ribbons. We had started John Wayne on barrels and his first time out he placed 1st in barrels and 2nd in Poles. We know that they will learn together and be the team to beat! Congradulations. Boy does he have a great jog and lope. He will truly be missed around here. He was the boy everyone loved and loved to ride! |

Reagan on John Wayne
Isn't he a pretty boy! He knew the difference when Reagan got on him and never made a wrong move. He was very careful with her. |
Me & Thunder
This was the day Thunder left and went to his new home. I cried of course and missed him very much. I sold him to a 15 yr. old girl last year and she has since put him up for sale for double what she paid for him, she even tried to sell him back to me at double what I sold him to her for. I even gave her a break on the price so she could afford him. This sale was a mistake on my part and I still regret not keeping him for my son, but I can't afford to pay double what I had originally paid for him. Thunder...I hope you find a good home very soon. we miss you! I dropped the price on this horse so this girl could afford to buy him, since her father made her pay for it herself. I dropped the price from 2500 to 1500 so she could buy him. They had really seemed to bond and from talking to her, she was in love with this horse. The new home checked out. This is the one sale I really regret. She is currently selling him on Horsetopia.com for $6000.00 He was a good horse, but a grade Missouri Foxtrotter. He was simply a trail horse and that was all he was supposed to do, maybe a lesson horse. But 6,000! Wow!@ |

Here is Ghostbuster. He was sold to Gerald, who is a friend of my husbands. He is also the man that put me in touch with Cochise. He had already put some weight on Cochise before we got him. He fell in love with Ghostbuster and has given him a wonderful new home with new shelters. Thanks Gerald!

Cochise has been sold. He is with his new family the Brubakers. He is Kaitlyn's first horse and from what her father has told me, they are both doing great together. Cochise is a wonderful boy and I have been assured when he retires, he will be allowed to live out his remaining days as a companion horse. Should for some reason they ever have to get rid of him, he will come back to me here. He loves children and has never made a wrong move with a child on his back. Let an adult get on him and he will test you everytime. He truly knows the difference and loves the kids. I know he is being truly spoiled by Kaitlyn and her mother. He will be pampered and loved.
Cochise has retired! He has given lessons to both the Brubaker kids and is now a pasture pet. He currently gets grooming, treats and loving on a very regular basis and continues to be spoiled rotten. Thanks Brubakers for continuing to give this old man a forever home and all the love and attention he deserves!
